Women’s Health Practice-Based Research Network
The Women’s Health Practice-Based Research Network (WHPBRN) promotes collaboration between practitioners and clinical investigators to improve women’s health. This network is part of Magee-Womens Research Institute and the CTSI.
Patient benefits:
- Gain an additional understanding of their condition
- Help their community by increasing medical knowledge to improve women’s health
- Receive new, developing intervention as they are being developed
Provider benefits:
- Studies may provide feedback about patient conditions
- Studies may provide materials, like home blood-pressure monitors
- Studies may provide interventions that can help clinical management of patients
Researcher benefits:
- Ability to advertise the study in OBGYN practices
- Access to an undeserved population of pregnant women
