CTSI Research Participation Core

The Research Participation Core supports a group of liaisons with expertise in engagement of participants across the lifespan.  

Services include: 

• Advising researchers on the population dimensions of cohorts included in their research 
• Helping formulate hypotheses relevant to participants 
• Identifying research gaps, opportunities, and collaborators that facilitate a more wide-reaching approach to recruitment  
• Providing guidance on best practices for recruitment, specimen collection, and research methodologies 
• Helping identify resources that may facilitate outreach opportunities 
• Fostering relationships between communities and researchers in partnership with the Community PARTners program
