Community PARTners
CTSI’s Community PARTners Core links researchers and the community by partnering with diverse community members and organizations, with a focus on research reciprocity and inclusion of underrepresented populations in research. Core programming includes several tools to help researchers increase community engagement, including facilitation of Community Engagement Studios, Community Partnered Research Ethics Training, and language equity services.
The CTSI’s Community PARTners Core along with the Urban League of Pittsburgh and the New Pittsburgh Courier collaborate on a monthly health page and Lunch and Learn to provide relevant, evidence-based health information and research opportunities to the local community and the Courier readership.
