Clinical Trial Accelerator Core (CTA)

The Clinical Trial Accelerator Core helps investigators address challenging administrative, regulatory, recruitment and enrollment issues in an effort to facilitate faster, more efficient implementation of clinical trials.

Core services include study aims review and feedback consultations and customized recruitment and clinical trial resources in our playbook/virtual facilitator. The CTA Core liaises with the Trial Innovation Network, a consortium of Clinical and Translational Science Awardee sites across the country, to leverage resources across sites; this partnership can help investigators seeking partners for multi-site collaborations. Locally the CTA Core works to connect research oversight and services offices across the University of Pittsburgh to enhance communication and break down barriers to the efficient conduct of clinical trials.
