Successful mentorship can lead to higher research productivity, career satisfaction, retention in academia, and stronger professional networks. This talk will explore the factors influencing effective mentor-mentee relationships from both the mentor and mentee perspectives. Examples of effective and ineffective mentorship relationships will be included. (subject matter: mentor/mentee relationships)
